BILL SHERMAN

Bill Sherman has been in the financial industry since graduating from Dartmouth College in 1981 and returning home to KC. He has been helping Mazuma Members plan their financial futures since 1990. He holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.

Bill focuses on the performance of your investments, the insurances that reduce your risks, and the mathematical choices we all must face in our daily lives to educate our children and achieve a secure retirement.

An active Member of Rotary International, Bill is the proud father of two grown daughters and has been married to Connie since 1983. He enjoys the outdoors — including golf, canoeing and fishing — and is a National and World Champion in Masters swimming.

Laura Augspurg

Laura Augspurg is a lifelong KC area resident, attended Lee’s Summit HS and graduated from Baker University magna cum laude. She has been working with Mazuma Members since 1997 to help make Kansas City a better place to live, work and bank.

Combining her education and credit union experience, Laura works to ensure your investments and insurances are in line with your goals, from short to long term. She also offers insights into daily choices we all have to make to ensure financial success.

Laura enjoys the outdoors as much as possible, including gardening, camping and boating. She is married to a wonderful man, Brian, and together they have three children and four grandchildren. They have some kids-in-law that are pretty great, too!
